The Mid-Eastern Chapter of the Society of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging (MECSNM) has over 750 active members representing professionals from West Virgina, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, and District of Columbia. The MECSNMMI hosts a number of education activities throughout the year, including Spring and Fall meetings providing technologist, physician and physicist CME credit. The MECSNMMI includes an independently governed Technologist Section. The Fall meeting is developed and run by the Technologist Section. Overall, MECSNMMI provides a forum for: Professional networking Staying up to date with current practice guidelines and regulations Encouraging and enhancing professional development. Monitoring and addressing of nuclear medicine professional issues at the Chapter level.
